World Animal Day Awareness Walk – UVAS Lahore by Vets Care Club
Vets Care Club, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, is organizing an Awareness Walk in celebration of World Animal Day on Monday, October 6, 2025. The event aims to promote compassion, care, and respect for all animals while emphasizing the vital role veterinarians and animal lovers play in ensuring animal welfare.
The walk will bring together veterinary students, faculty members, animal welfare advocates, and the general public to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, the importance of vaccination, prevention of cruelty, and the One Health approach linking human, animal, and environmental well-being.
Through this initiative, Vets Care Club continues its mission to create a more compassionate society for animals and to inspire collective action toward their protection and well-being.
