The wait is over! We’re bringing back a much-loved tradition for 2026 – the World Animal Day Mug Competition!
While World Animal Day may still feel a little way off, we’re opening entries early again this year to give you plenty of time to get inspired and start creating.
Whether you’re an animal lover, an aspiring artist, or just looking for a nice way to spend a summer afternoon, this is your chance to use your creativity for a meaningful cause!
What’s It All About?
We’re inviting people of all ages to design a brand-new mug for World Animal Day 2026.
There are no limits to your imagination:
- Draw your favourite animal
- Celebrate wildlife and nature
- Show what animals mean to you
Last year, we were blown away by the creativity and heart behind the entries, from farm animals and tributes to beloved pets to detailed underwater scenes! This year, we can’t wait to see what you come up with.

How to Enter
Taking part is simple:
- Pick up your pencils, paints, or digital tools
- Download and print the official design template
- Create your masterpiece in the space provided
- Send it to us via email or post (full details on the template)
No printer? No problem.
If printing the template isn’t possible, you can simply create your design on a piece of paper or card, just make sure it’s roughly square or landscape in layout.
What You Could Win
- Your design professionally printed on our official 2026 World Animal Day mug
- Your very own mug featuring your artwork
- Prizes for runners-up in each age category
