World Animal Day Celebration and Pet Blessing 2026
The PAWS World Animal Day and Pet Blessing is an annual celebration that honors animals and the special bond they share with their families. The event features a program celebrating beloved companion animals, promoting responsible pet ownership and compassion for all animals, followed by a Holy Mass in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals. After the Mass, each pet receives an individual blessing from the priest, making the occasion a meaningful and joyful gathering for pet guardians and animal lovers.
