Since I can remember, my heart has beat in tune with nature. I was born in Colombia, a paradise of biodiversity that taught me to love the peace of the trees and the sweetness of fresh fruit. At 13, that love became action when, alongside a close friend, I co-founded my first animal advocacy project, “Lógico & Zoo Fundación.”

Today, at 30, that same flame still burns. My greatest passion is fighting for animal rights as the Country Director of AnimaNaturalis International, an NGO that defends animals in Spain and Latin America.

I’ve had the honor of contributing to historic changes in my country. I was part of the movement that achieved the passing of Law 1774, which recognizes animals as sentient beings. More recently, we celebrated a monumental victory: the national ban on bullfighting in Colombia — a goal we pursued tirelessly in alliance with other organizations.

Beyond political advocacy, I also work to build partnerships that deliver food donations to shelters and sanctuaries that rescue and rehabilitate abandoned animals. Seeing them get a second chance is the greatest reward. My life is a reflection of my conviction: to build a world where all animals are respected and protected.

AnimaNaturalis exists because billions of animals suffer at human hands — and because they deserve change, protection, and a voice. We are a nonprofit NGO working to defend animals in Spain and Latin America.

Our work focuses on ending the suffering of animals used in:

• The food industry
• Scientific experiments
• The fashion industry
• Entertainment

We also advocate for responsible companion animal care. We achieve impact through investigations, public awareness campaigns, and pushing for alternatives and policy change that promote a more respectful coexistence with animals.
