Bulgaria Together for Animals: A World Animal Day Event hosted by Kathleen’s Paws
Bulgaria Together for Animals is an online World Animal Day event bringing together animal welfare stakeholders from across Bulgaria and beyond.
Hosted by Kathleen’s Paws, the event aims to encourage constructive dialogue, collaboration and the sharing of practical solutions to improve animal welfare outcomes throughout Bulgaria.
The event is built around two core ideas:
Building bridges between animal welfare organisations, veterinarians, municipalities, institutions, businesses and communities, and
Celebrating the extraordinary people who work tirelessly every day to improve the lives of animals across Bulgaria.
The programme will include contributions from veterinarians, animal welfare organisations, campaigners, educators, documentary makers, municipal representatives and other stakeholders working to create positive change for animals.
Topics will include:
• Humane population management
• Prevention and responsible ownership
• Veterinary perspectives on animal welfare
• Education and community engagement
• Collaboration between NGOs, municipalities and institutions
• Successful initiatives and lessons learned from Bulgaria and internationally
The event is founded on the belief that lasting progress for animals requires cooperation, evidence-based solutions and open dialogue between all those involved in animal welfare.
The event will be held online and will be free to attend.
