Living Connections: Animals in the Botanical Garden

This event is a collaborative initiative between the Botanical Garden and the Department of Zoology of the Institute of Biology at UNAM. It aims to introduce visitors to animal species that inhabit and interact with the Botanical Garden’s living collections, using them for food, shelter, and other essential resources. The event will also highlight ongoing wildlife monitoring projects conducted by researchers at the Botanical Garden and the Institute of Biology. These connections between plants, animals, and scientific research will be presented through a permanent exhibition within the Botanical Garden, opening on October 5 to commemorate World Animal Day.
