Rabies Prevention Campaign in Kabul
For World Animal Day 2025, Nowzad is focused efforts on it's animal welfare projects in Afghanistan. Nowzad's dedicated vet team in Kabul will spend the entire day providing crucial rabies vaccinations for all dogs brought to their Animal Hospital and to a pop-up clinic in the local market, protecting both the animals and the community. Following the vaccinations, one of our experienced vets, along with our education team, will travel around the city, distributing informative leaflets and banners across Kabul. This important outreach initiative will focus on rabies awareness, teaching people how to reduce the risks of contracting the disease, and promoting the essential message that all animals must be treated with kindness and compassion.
